Greeting DA people, i come to you today in a very important ocation: THE 10TH ANNIVERSARY OF "AMAZING NURSE NANAKO"!!!!!!!!!! What? No, i am serious. ^^
Originally released back in 1999, "Amazing Nurse Nanako" is a 6 episode anime about this clumsy but lovely 16 years old nurse-maid called Nanako Shichigusa and her misadventures at Ogami Hospital.
I really, really, reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally love this crazy anime. ^^ Its really all about the giggles, i read the different reviews in the web and there is something bugging me everytime: the fan service. Sure it has a good amount of it but when watching ANN you have to focus on Nanako's story, the fan service is just that, it doesnt make the whole show like i read before. Its almost impossible not to like Nanako, she is probably one of the cutest characters in animes, at least for me it is. ^^
Anyway, as any other show, "Amazing Nurse Nanako" has all kinds of merchandising: articulated figures, model kits, posters, shirts, drama cds, almanacs, artbooks, etc. I would be lying if I say that as a fan i didnt try to find any of those here but sadly i havent. So i did what i could, i start using Google. XD I got tons of images: wallpapers, screen captures, animated gifs, the artbook scans, some ..whats the word?..never mind, sketches, galleries of the different figures. Man, i so want a Nanako model kit, my favourite til today has to be the Kitty costume version. ^^ I have a thing for anime catgirls and Nanako looks lovely in that uniform.XD But in general, the different kits are gorgeous.
TEchnically i have been a fan for 9 years only, since i saw that magazine with Nanako in the cover back in 2000. Since then i fall in love with her XD Not literally but you know what i mean. ^^ And i didnt expect for me to dig the anime after all this years but here i am. ^^
So, if you havent seen the show yet i say DO IT NOW! XD Its not a mind blowing anime but,like i said earlier, its all about the laughs. ^^
So, come on, come on! Its Nanako's birthday!!! I wanna see some exciment!!! XD
